About Web PSEditor
Web PSEditor is a free online image editor that runs entirely inside your web browser. Open a photo, retouch it with layers, selections, filters and text, then export the result — no software to install, no account to create, and no file ever handed over to a server.
1. Why We Built It
Most "free online editors" work by uploading your photo to a remote server, processing it there, and sending a result back. That model is convenient, but it quietly assumes you are comfortable with a stranger's infrastructure holding your files. For an ID photo, a scanned passport, a signed contract, a medical record or an unreleased product shot, that assumption is hard to accept.
Web PSEditor was built to remove that assumption completely. Editing is performed by your own device, inside the browser tab you already have open.
2. Our Core Principle: Your Files Never Leave Your Device
The entire editing pipeline — decoding, canvas rendering, layer compositing, filter math, and file export — is executed locally with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript. There is no upload endpoint, no processing queue, and no image storage of any kind on our side.
- Your image is never transmitted, so it cannot be intercepted, retained or resold.
- No sign-up, no email, no account — the editor opens and works immediately.
- Because processing is local, the tool stays responsive even on slow connections.
- Refreshing or closing the tab releases everything from memory.
3. What You Can Do in the Browser
Web PSEditor is built on a full layered editing engine rather than a set of one-off filters. Typical work includes:
- Retouching and cutouts — magic wand selection, smart masking and background removal for product shots or ID photos.
- Layered composition — multiple layers with blend modes, opacity, ordering and visibility control.
- Color and tone — brightness, contrast, hue/saturation, curves-style adjustments and one-click filter presets.
- Geometry — crop, rotate, straighten, flip, resize and canvas expansion.
- Annotations and redaction — text, watermarks, mosaic and blur for hiding sensitive details.
- Export — lossless PNG, JPEG and WEBP output with adjustable quality, or save the whole project as a multi-layer JSON file you can reopen later.

6. How the Site Stays Free
Web PSEditor has no subscription, no paywall and no watermark on exports. Hosting and bandwidth are covered by displaying advertisements through third-party networks such as Google AdSense.
